Steve came to us joined by his family, for the Choose to Change Team Transformation Challenge. From day one he was all in - from group training to cycling to boxing to yoga. We are extremely proud to acknowledge that Steve is down 40 lbs in just 6 weeks and has easily become one of the highlights of our day. Always smiling, working hard, and motivating those around him. Steve, way to stay true to yourself!
🔥 What brought you through the doors of The Gym? What was your AHA! Moment?
I have seen the positive affects that the gym has had on my whole family. The choose to change challenge was a great way to check it out.
🔥 What were some of your fears as you began your journey?
Getting injured and having to stop going was my only concern. Plenty of days muscles were sore and different parts ached ect. The trainers adapt the exersizes for folks that are just getting back into it or have certain limitations/past injuries. I was able to not miss a day and work through some minor pain.
🔥 What do you most looking forward to when you walk through the doors every day? What motivates you?
I look forward to seeing everyone at the gym, getting healthier, learning and challenging myself. I have done yoga, spin, group training, intro training classes, boxing, breathing, the trainers at the 518 gym are incredible, positive, and knowledgeable.
🔥 What would you say to someone thinking about their future and starting their journey?
I would say sign up for a class. Get a small group together and create a small class with one of the trainers. So many options. I’ll be in the 5am intro MWF and the 5am Tu and Thurs. Come check it out.
